It’s A New Day

Even though I may have wayyyyy overdone it yesterday (hello salted caramel apple pie, pumpkin cheesecake, AND homemade pecan pie), one of my very favorite things about Weight Watchers is what it helps me realize about today.

I woke up post foodcoma this morning around 8am, and immediately put on my running clothes. I went out for a chilly but perfect 40 minute run to start today off right, and then made myself eggs with mushrooms and toast, and already I feel better health wise.

Afterall, today IS a new day!

How do you/did you get back on track post holiday?

    For once I don’t feel like I went overboard for Thanksgiving! Lol, I almost feel like I cheated myself or something.

    Nice work getting out on for the run! I woke up early and BIKED. Fun stuff. No need to let Thanksgiving to New Years turn into one big healthy living disaster.

    (just a few small healthy living disasters along the way 😉 )

    Just did our Turbo Fire 55 workout and we worked out yesterday morning before the feast.

    Good for you! I always feel like a run the day after Thanksgiving/Christmas is the hardest.

    I get back on track by saying ‘no thanks’ to the leftovers and by eating a bit on the lighter side.

    Definitely IS a new day. I’m prepping for a half tomorrow, so no workout for me and still eating a bit more…but I’m happy that I’m staying in tune with hunger levels and that I feel happy with my choices and how far I’ve come. Have a great weekend, Beth!

    Yep! It was just one day. I don’t beat myself up about it anymore. I worked out on Thanksgiving. I ate more than normal but not “too much” so I felt sick. And today I went swimming and went for a short bike ride. All is good in my world!

    I taught Bodypump! And did some cardio, too. I still feel STUFFED though, and just need to get back on track!

    Made a menu plan for the week. Beth, this is one of the most helpful things I learned from this site. You should keep on posting them!–it really helps keep me on track.
