Hi Beth,
I stumbled across your blog while looking for info about the PP changes for 2012. I could NOT lose weight on 29 pts/day and thanks to your blog will adjust the daily pts to 26.
I also wanted to tell you that your blog is fabulous and I plan on using your recipe for eppglant parm. Eggplant is my cooking nemesis, but we’ll see if your recipe helps me defeat the lousy results I’ve had in the past.
I am also a lifetime member and have lost 85 lbs on WW. It is a struggle every day, but WW has given me the tools to manage my weight. Too bad there aren’t meetings devoted to maintenance since our needs are so different.
You look fabulous and congratulations on changing your life. I know your struggle!
Best regards,
Gail
Hi Gail-
So glad you found me and that 26 pts+ is helping you bust back into weight loss mode! And 85 pounds – congratulations!! That’s amazing.
I agree that maintenance needs are different than weight loss needs, but I think at the same time, you have to stick with the habits that you learn in WW in order to maintain the loss. I think it’s motivating for people in weight loss mode to see us maintainers at goal or struggling to stay there to reiterate how important it is to make lifestyle changes rather than just quick fixes, but I do think a Lifetimers only forum could be a good idea! I’d check out the WW Boards online if you haven’t already – it might be a good source of motivation!!
Hi Beth
Thank you for the fantastic blog. You are truly an inspiration!
I have been a member of WW on and off since 2001. I obtained lifetime a little over a year ago with losing over 60 pounds. I was considering applying to work for WW since I would love to inspire others. Do you recommend to work as a receptionist first? How is it working a full-time job and then working part-time for WW? Is there flexibility? I appreciate any feedback you can offer.
Thank you! Abby (greensaj@yahoo.com)
