Chobani: A Giveaway

I love me some greek yogurt. I eat it almost every single day for a snack, usually plain with fruit or other mixins added it.  When I go for the flavored kind, my favorite is Chobani, hands down. I like that they have real fruit or honey at the bottom, rather than some of the other kinds where you pour the jelly like substance over the plain yogurt. So when the folks over at Chobani offered to send me a custom case, I couldn’t turn it down!

The Plain nonfat container has 2 pts+, and most of the flavored nonfat ones have 3pts. The 2% has 3 pts+ for the plain, and most of hte flavored 2% has 4pts+, which is not bad at all. I don’t normally buy the flavored kinds, but I must admit – it’s been so convenient to just grab a container and not have to get anything else to put in it!

One of the new-to-me flavors I got to try was the 2% Blood Orange.

It was DELICIOUS. I loved the tangy-sweet blood orange chunks at the bottom – it was the perfect balance! And the other new-to-me favorite flavors were 0% Pineapple and the 2% Mango – both so, so good.

What better way to start the day after a long weekend than with a giveaway!?

One lucky reader will win your own customized case of Chobani, based on your personal preferences!

To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite way to eat greek yogurt!

Contest ends at 12am EST on Thursday, May 31st. I’ll announce the winner on Friday morning. Good luck!!

I have just switched over from regular yogurt to Greek the last few weeks. I love mixing mine with sliced, canned peaches (not in syrup!) It feels so decadent to be eating a version of peaches and cream, yummmm!

My favorite way to eat Chobani, is take the plain, add chopped cucumbers and a bit of smashed garlic, and a little salt, stir to combine. I use my fresh “tzatziki” sauce on hamburgers, meatloaf, ritz crackers – the roasted vegetable ones. It is much lower than sour cream, and is refreshing. Although I am lactose intolerant, most of the whey is removed by the draining process where the lactose resides. I love CHOBANI!

I love Chobani! I eat it almost everyday too. I have lots of favorite ways to eat it. I usually get the 2% plain and add some maple syrup and fruit. If it’s breakfast, sometimes I add some puffed rice cereal to that. This weekend, I discovered a new flavor combo. I added a cut up cara cara orange and some shredded coconut. Tropical goodness.

And when I want savory, I add salsa to the plain and eat it with tortilla chips or baby carrots.

I am a HUGE Chobani fan and love their Pineapple, Peach and Apple Cinnamon flavors. Chobani is flavorful and provides a protein punch on it’s own that I often don’t need to add anything. If I do, it’s usually adding Kashi Cinnamon cereal to the apple which makes it seem like I’m eating apple crisp!

It is so filling and delicious and only 4 ww points! Great for a protein packed mid day snack or desert! You can also use regular PB but your points go up dramatically. I have also used this and added chocolate shakeology and filled a low fat graham cracker crust. Chill in fridge overnight and you have a healthy pie treat! Great for parties!!

I love the plain chobani – when i want something like a dessert – strained overnight with some sweetner & almond extract – tastes just like a cheesecake! When I just want yogurt, i usually add agave nectar & pistachios or bananas. Delish!!

I freakin’ love Chobani! It’s the only brand I’ll buy because the texture & flavors are both perfect for me- not too creamy, and not too sweet!

My favorite Chobani flavors are: Pineapple, Blood Orange, & Apple Cinnamon. With the apple cinnamon, I sprinkle some more Saigon Cinnamon into it for extra punch! 🙂

I always have a ton of different jams in my fridge, so I just get the plain yogurt and stir in whichever flavor of jam I feel like. If I’m craving a more dessert-like feel, I take inspiration from those frozen yogurt shops and top my yogurt with granola, fruit (usually blueberries and strawberries and kiwi), and sliced almonds — really delicious.

I love, LOVE Chobani! I have it as a snack most days, either the blueberry, vanilla, pomegranate, or blood orange flavors..mmmm…any flavor! Its also a great sub for sour cream and mayo (and personally I think it tastes better) But in the summer, plain 0% is my go-to breakfast. Usually I have oatmeal for breakfast but most days it is just too hot! Now that its getting steamy, I’ll have a half cup of 0% Chobani plain mixed with any fruit (preferably a banana or blueberries), a tsp of honey drizzled over top, and if I’m feeling adventurous I’ll add some light cereal on top for crunch, most likely a cereal from Trader Joe’s. Yum!!

I love using chobani plain greek yogurt- 0% in place of mayonnaise or sour cream. I mix in some fresh herbs and its a great substitute! I dip sweet potato fries in it and use it on taco salad A LOT!

My favorite breakfast is Greek yogurt with a lot of fruit and something crunchy, like Kashi Go Lean cereal or Quaker Oatmeal Squares. Keeps me full for a long time and helps me get in my daily fruit servings!

Greek Yogurt is a staple in our house. I am in the final stages of losing 111 pounds, my husband lost 55 and has maintained it for 2 years now… we have a 6 & 8 year old we are trying to teach to live healthy AND we care for my diabetic mother who lives with us! Greek Yogurt is the PERFECT snack for all of us… especially my diabetic mother… She has at least one each day. It is a perfect balance of carbs & protein for a bedtime snack! It helps keep her blood sugars stable overnight. We even just had my father live with us for 3 weeks following surgery… HE’s hooked on Greek yogurt too now! Chobani is hands down our favorite! We’d LOVE to have a custom case! That would be awesome!

I use plain greek yogurt in my scrambled eggs. I put one heaping scoop into my eggs for the entire family. Beat it up with the scrambled and then cook them. Yum! It makes them so light and fluffy, and adds a ton more protein too. They reheat well too this way. My fav Chobani flavor is Pineapple, and the Blood Orange is my newest favorite.

I switched from regular yogurt to Chobani about 6 months ago and never looked back. I have 1 for breakfast almost every day and sometimes as a snack in the afternoon. My favorite way to eat Chobani yogurt is to put homemade sugar free Apple Butter in it. it tastes just like apple pie! My favorite flavor is 0% honey. I love the sweet and tangy flavor and it is so smooth! I would love to win a customized box of Chobani and try their new flavors!

Also- I love putting 0% plain Chobani in mashed potatoes! it substitutes sour cream and butter and makes them oh so creamy and delicious!

I love greek yogurt, and my night is not complete without it! When I started my weight loss journey more than 2 years ago, my “coach” introduced me to greek yogurt and berries as my nightly snack, as opposed to a sugar loaded 100 calorie ice cream treat. Yes, my new nightly snack has more calories, but also a lot more nutrients too!

I mix 3-4 Tbls Greek yogurt with 1-2 Tbls tahini and add sea salt, lemon juice and fresh garlic to make a yummy veggie dip or salad dressing. It’s also great as a marinade for chicken!

I was very hesitant to try Greek yogurt because regular yogurt was never a fav food of mine . When I first tried it I just ate it straight out of the container … And I was not impressed. The next time I mixed it in with honey nut cheerios and now I am hooked ! I haven’t tried many different flavores yet but I also enjoy mixing in fruit. I am completely converted to Greek yogurt now !

I love chobani greek yogurt, my fav flavors are raspberry, pineapple, and passion fruit although I do enjoy them all. Lately though I have been eating a lot of the plain and drizzling on honey (from my parent’s hive in good old southbury- I hear it is good for you to eat local honey…and delicious), I don’t even mix it in just drizzle it on-gives a great sweet and sour taste, yummy.

I hated yogurt and refused to eat it until my co-worker made me try Chobani and I havent turned back since. I eat it almost everyday. I like to just eat it out of the container I think its perfect the way it is, I love the fruit chunks in it.

I am in love with vanilla greek yogurt and mixing Peanut Butter 2 powder into it! I add a little water to it and mix it all up! Then I cut up a banana and stir it in as well. I then add 1 cup of chocolate Cheerios and mix it in. It is amazing! So yummy. It is like eating Reese’s Peanut Butter cups for breakfast…the healthy way!<3
